Effective August 12, 2026. This policy explains how SimpleSite handles project data, permissions, export, and sharing.
SimpleSite stores projects, PDFs, markups, comments, camera point folders, photos, videos, custom toolsets, and location stamps on your Android device. SimpleSite does not operate a cloud sync service for this app release.
The app can contain jobsite PDFs, field photos, videos, notes, markups, comments, and location stamp text that you choose to create or import. This content remains in the app workspace unless you export, share, back up, or transfer it using Android or another app.
SimpleSite requests camera permission so you can take project photos and videos for camera point folders. You can also import existing media through Android's file picker.
SimpleSite requests foreground location permission only when you place a location stamp. The app uses the location available from Android to create the stamp text and stores that stamp with your project.
SimpleSite uses Android file pickers and share sheets when you import PDFs, import or export toolsets, export projects, or share project zip files. If you choose Google Drive, OneDrive, email, messaging, USB storage, or another destination, that destination app or service controls its own upload, sync, retention, and sharing behavior.
SimpleSite uses internet access only when you manually check for updates through Google Play or complete the Google Play update install flow. SimpleSite does not use internet access for accounts, analytics, ads, cloud sync, or developer-operated data collection.
This release does not include SimpleSite accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or developer-operated servers that collect app content from your device.
SimpleSite disables Android backup for app project data in this release so sensitive project files are not automatically copied by the operating system backup service.
